I purchased “The Commander” tripod and “The Chief Leveling Head”. I used to haul a bench to rest my rifle on for zeroing in the rifle/scope. This is no longer necessary because this combination is rock solid steady. For example, when the leveling head is locked in on target (which is simple and quick to acquire), all you would need is a finger to manipulate the trigger, there is no give in weight redistributing as you take your hand and/or shoulder off the rifle. I’m pushing 60 years of age and have a bit of tremble in my hands, this just increased my predator hunting success rate substantially. I used to only be confident in my prone or bipod accuracy to ethically kill within 100 yards, now I am looking for opportunities well beyond 250 yards.
